Diabetics need to have their feet
checked regularly by a podiatrist.
Diabetes affects the feet in two ways. It can reduce blood circulation and also damage the nerves to the feet.
Good foot care can help people with diabetes avoid foot problems. During your visit to our Podiatry Clinic, a state registered Podiatrist will examine both your feet thoroughly. They will then be able to identify problems and advise you on the best treatment for you.
The Podiatry service at the Scholl Foothealth Centres is available daily.
